Hilltoppers Dominate and Extend Winning Streak to 23
The Western Kentucky University (WKU) volleyball team is heading to the Conference-USA Championship following a commanding victory over Kennesaw State on Saturday. This win marks the 23rd consecutive triumph for the Hilltoppers, solidifying their dominance throughout the season.
Set One: WKU Establishes Early Control
WKU took charge early in the first set, holding their lead from start to finish. The team closed the set with a decisive four-point streak, securing a 25-17 win. Kaylee Cox, the team’s standout outside hitter, led the way with four kills, while right-side hitter Kenadee Coyle added three points to the scoreboard.
Set Two: Building Momentum with a Fast Start
The Hilltoppers carried their momentum into the second set, racing to a 6-0 start. Although Kennesaw State managed to narrow the gap to just one point, WKU responded decisively with three clutch kills from Kaylee Cox, winning the set 25-13. Contributions from Alivia Skidmore and freshman Faith Young, who combined for five points, kept WKU in control.
Set Three: A Commanding Finish

In the third set, WKU continued their dominance, jumping to an early 5-1 lead. Despite a brief rally from Kennesaw State, the Hilltoppers closed the match with a comfortable 25-14 victory. Kenadee Coyle stood out with four kills, while multiple players added at least two points each in a strong team effort.
