Prices Set for Fans to Purchase Valentino Rossi Memorabilia to Support Valencia Flood VVictims.
Valentino Rossi has generously donated a signed helmet to support Cruz Roja, the Spanish Red Cross, in its efforts to assist the people of Valencia following the devastating floods that struck the region in late October. The iconic helmet, an AGV Pista GP RR, features Rossi’s renowned ‘Soleluna’ design created for his final MotoGP season in 2021. The helmet also bears Rossi’s autograph on its right side, making it a unique collector’s item for fans.

The auction, hosted by CharityStars, will run until December 6, 8:00 PM GMT, with a starting bid set at €3,000 (approximately £2,500). With just 10 days left at the time of writing, fans and collectors alike have the opportunity to own this rare piece of MotoGP history while contributing to a noble cause.
Rossi is not the only MotoGP star stepping up to support Valencia in the wake of last month’s floods. Several other riders, past and present, have also pitched in to provide aid. Moto3 World Champion of 2024, David Alonso, joined his team boss Jorge Martinez ‘Aspar’ in cleanup efforts across Valencia earlier this month. Similarly, 2023 Moto3 Champion and current Moto2 rider Jaume Masia actively participated in the recovery efforts.

Maverick Vinales, Aprilia MotoGP rider, contributed by donating his 2013 Calvo KTM bike, the machine that secured him the Moto3 championship title, to the same auction as Rossi’s helmet. Additional items up for auction include Dani Pedrosa’s KTM racing leathers, Aleix Espargaro’s Paddock scooter, and Jaume Masia’s Preicanos Moto2 bike from 2024.
This collaborative effort by MotoGP legends highlights the racing community’s solidarity and commitment to giving back. For fans, this auction is not only a chance to own iconic memorabilia but also an opportunity to directly support those affected by the catastrophic floods.
