I was amazed at how beautiful the summers are, but in winter, it’s really dark,” she laughs. However, despite the darker winters, Ščuka has grown fond of her new home, especially when it comes to the beauty and culture of the country.

When not focused on training and matches, Lana enjoys exploring Poland’s historic cities. Her favorite spot is Krakow, which she describes as a must-see destination. “Krakow is full of interesting shops, stunning architecture, delicious pastries, and so much to do,” she shares enthusiastically.

A Glimpse into Lana’s Daily Life

The demanding schedule of a professional volleyball player means that Lana Ščuka has to find a balance between intense training sessions and downtime. When she has two practices in a day, she prefers to rest and recharge between sessions. However, when she has free time, she enjoys visiting the local aquapark, catching a movie, or dining at some of the restaurants on Piotrkowska Street, a famous area in Łódź.
