Beckham, who joined the Dolphins in May 2024 on a one-year contract worth $3 million, had hoped to play a key role in Miami’s high-powered offense, but his performance failed to meet expectations.

The last time he was truly effective was during the 2022 postseason with the Los Angeles Rams, when he helped lead the team to a Super Bowl LVI victory before suffering an ACL tear.

While his time with Miami was disappointing, Beckham’s release opens the door for a potential return to a team with more immediate needs. The Los Angeles Rams, where Beckham enjoyed success during his Super Bowl run, could be a likely destination. Additionally, the Baltimore Ravens, another of Beckham’s former teams, might consider adding the receiver to strengthen their playoff push.
