Carlito’s WWE Return and Judgment Day Alliance

After re-signing with WWE, Carlito made his highly anticipated full-time return at Fastlane in October 2023. Initially, he aligned himself with the LWO (Latino World Order) before being drafted to Monday Night Raw in April 2024. Following this move, Carlito surprised fans by joining Judgment Day, a faction known for its dominance and strategic alliances.

Carlito’s return to WWE was set in motion after his shocking Backlash appearance in Puerto Rico, where he interfered in the match between Bad Bunny and Damian Priest. This surprise moment reignited speculation about his future with the company and set the stage for his official comeback.

Carlito Dismisses AEW as an Option

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Carlito was asked if he had ever considered jumping ship to All Elite Wrestling. His response left no room for doubt about his commitment to WWE.

“I have a thing with loyalty, you know. I mean, I’ve only ever been a WWE guy, so I always kind of liked that, you know, just being a one-company guy. So, I mean, as long as they’ll have me, you know, I’d try to stay loyal to WWE as long as I could, and hopefully, I would honestly like to end my career with them.”

AEW Stars Expected to Join WWE

While Carlito remains dedicated to WWE, several former AEW stars are reportedly on their way to the company.

Names like Malakai Black, Ricky Starks, and Miro have officially departed AEW and are expected to make their debuts in WWE once their contracts allow it.

Regarding Ricky Starks, reports suggest that he explicitly asked AEW not to extend his contract in late 2023, but the company did so against his wishes. Now that his deal has finally expired, it’s anticipated that Starks will land in WWE NXT or the main roster soon.

Meanwhile, despite his expressed desire to leave AEW, Rey Fenix remains under contract, preventing him from joining his brother Penta on Raw.

With WWE actively bolstering its roster with top talent, it will be interesting to see how the landscape shifts in the coming months. However, one thing is certain—Carlito has no plans of jumping ship and remains loyal to WWE for the rest of his career.
